Check out this video by David Harvey. It is a provocative analysis of capitalism in crisis by a Marxist theorist. However, I think you will be intrigued by the presentation style. I love it. I think it is a fabulous way to take in information. I will refrain from commenting on the style of the video and just allow you to view it. "Capitalism never solves its crisis problems, it moves them around geographically."
History of capitalism is about financial ingenuity and innovation. "Financial innovation has the effect of empowering the financiers."
